Install ListeningKit for your AI client

ListeningKit exposes an MCP server over HTTP. Connect it to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Hermes, or another MCP client and ask an agent to read your matches or manage the phrases you watch.

The server address

The MCP server is hosted by your Convex deployment:

https://<your-deployment>.convex.site/mcp

For this project, the current production endpoint is:

https://tremendous-seahorse-330.convex.site/mcp

The development endpoint follows the same pattern. Use the deployment URL shown by Convex for your dev deployment.

http://localhost:3001 is the local documentation site. It is not the MCP endpoint. The web app runs on http://localhost:3000.

What you need

1. Sign in to the ListeningKit dashboard.
2. Open API and create an API key.
3. Select Read for a safe read-only agent, or add write:phrases if the agent should create, pause, resume, or remove phrases.
4. Copy the key when it is shown. It is shown once.

Never put the key in a prompt, public repository, screenshot, or published configuration.
